ArmInfo. PACE Monitoring Commission will discuss the report of the
Interim Parliamentary Commission "On March 1-2 Events in Yerevan and
Their Reasons" on December 17.

As chief specialist of the Parliament Foreign Relations Department
Estera Mkrtumyan told ArmInfo, it is scheduled to hold the discussions
at 3:00 pm by Yerevan time. Head of the Armenian delegation to PACE
David Harutyunyan from the Republic party, Armen Rustamyan from ARF
Dashnaktsutyun and member of Heritage parliamentary faction Zaruhi
Postanjyan will take part in the discussions.

To note, as D. Harutyunyan said earlier, as a result of discussions
in the Monitoring Commission, it is less probable that the issue will
be included in PACE January session.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
