/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The issue of Genocide is of key importance for
Armenians but we must overcome our complexes towards Turks, Armenian
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan says. Armenia’s foreign policy should
not be anti-Turkish, he told Hürriyet in an interview.

`We must be able to change our nation’s attitude,’ he stressed, adding
that public acknowledgement is one of the most important tools in
developing ties between the two countries.

`In my opinion, the eventual recognition of Armenian Genocide will
help Turkish society break through. This is way to becoming a
full-fledged member of European Union,’ Armenian Premier said.

`The Germans succeeded in overcoming their complex, helping their
society to acheive unprecedented social and economic development,’ he
added.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
