ARMENIAN STATE COMMITTEE FOR SCIENCE DRAWS OUT DRAFT DECISION OF THE GOVERNMENT ON CREATION OF 4 SCIENTIFIC CENTRES IN 2010

ArmInfo. Armenian State Committee for Science has drawn out the draft
decision of the government on creation of 4 scientific centres in
2010, chairman of the committee Samvel Harutyunyan said at today’s
press-conference.
He also added that first they were going to open the centres in 2009,
but it was delayed as a part of the budget funds was transferred to
the 4th quarter of the year. ‘At present we again own the funds from
the state budget to fulfill the programme, and it will be fulfilled
in 2010’, – Harutyunyan said.
To recall, the state budget will allocate 4,85 bln drams for preserving
and developing of the research infrastructure. The volume of all
budgetary scientific programmes is 8,35 bln drams.
