ARMENIA AND UAE EXTEND COOPERATION

ArmInfo. To hole the first political consultations between Foreign
Ministries of Armenia and United Arab Emirates, Foreign Minister of
Armenia Edward Nalbandyan met the delegation of UAE Foreign Ministry
headed by deputy FM of UAE Tariq Al-Haidan.
As Armenia’s Foreign Ministry press service told ArmInfo, E. Nalbandyan
welcomed the guests and said that the cooperation between the parties
dynamically develops, that is indicated by the recent high-level
mutual visits, which have become more frequent lately, as well as by
the growing interest by UAE businessmen in Armenia.
In his turn, Tariq Al-Haidan thanked for the warn receipt, and said
that his country intends to extend the cooperation with Armenia,
and it already takes specific steps in this direction. The parties
expressed satisfaction with the course of the political consultations
held on December 24-25 between the two countries’ Foreign Ministries.
They emphasized their importance for extension of cooperation between
Armenia and UAE. The problems of the Caucasus region and the Near
East, as well as the efforts, required for solution of these problems,
were discussed at the meeting.
