ARMENTEL: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ‘SUPER-ELITE’ (091) AND OTHER CELLULAR NUMBERS

ArmInfo. There is absolutely no difference between "super-elite"
(091) and other cellular numbers, says the head of the Customer
Service Department of ArmenTel Burastan Movsissyan.

The subscribers using (091) numbers enjoy exactly the same services
as the other customers do. Simply some people think that only the
rich could afford cellular numbers 10 years ago. In reality, there
is no functional difference bewteen (091) and other numbers.

Simply, most of ArmenTel’s first subscribers have not changed their
numbers. Some of them have even refrained from changing their tariff
plans even though today ArmenTel has lots of more interesting offers.

ArmenTel is glad to have such subscribers as they give the most
realistic assessment of the company’s services. They help the company
to expand into the regions, to enlarge its services and to change
its billing systems.

"I can’t say precisely how many of our old clients have become
subscribers of another operator in parallel over the past few years,
however, in any case, one can’t speak by two cards in an equally
intensive way. One way or another, preference is given to one of them,
and we think that our subscribers give their preference to us",-
said Movsisyan.

At present ArmenTel provides cellular phone numbers with 091 and
099 prefixes, VivaCell- MTS – with 093, 094, 098 and 077 prefixes,
Orange Armenia – with 055 and 095 prefixes. ArmenTel (Beeline brand)
is the Armenian subsidiary of VimpelCom OJSC.
