AZERBAIJAN, TURKEY CAN EXPAND ECONOMIC COOPERATION

Azerbaijan and Turkey can expand economic cooperation. The sides
have already implemented such projects as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan
oil pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline (South Caucasus Pipeline)
and a project of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, said Azerbaijani Foreign
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov during a joint press conference in Ankara
with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on Dec. 25, Turkish TRT
2 television channel reported.
However, the Minister said that the Armenian-Azerbaijani
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict adversely affects the economic development
in the region.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov arrived in the Turkish
capital of Ankara on Dec. 24.
On Dec. 25, Mammadyarov held talks with Foreign Minister Ahmet
Davutoglu.
