"Representatives of the Azerbaijani community are not expected to
trip to Nagorno-Karabakh any time soon," Azerbaijani ambassador to
Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said.
The Shusha-born diplomat noted that such contacts do not interfere
with peaceful or military ways of settlement of the conflict and not
a substitute for negotiations.
"I can openly say that the opposite side avoid such visits," he added.
"We are ready to expand the format. However, they see that results
of these visits and therefore, delay organizing such visits."
Bulbuloglu did not exclude that such a meeting might be arranged in
coming months, adding that the talks on this issue is continuing.
"If talks are fruitful, the trips will be continued," he said.
