FIRE OCCURS AT HRAZDAN THERMAL POWER PLANT

ArmInfo. A fire occurred at the Hrazdan thermal power plant in Kotayk
region of Armenia on January 10, the press-service of the Armenian
Ministry of Emergency Situations told ArmInfo.

At 7:20 pm the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a signal
about the fire, the first deputy minister of emergency situations,
director of the Armenian rescue service Edik Barseghyan, as well as
5 fire teams from Hrazdan and 2 from Yerevan arrived at the place of
the fire. The fire was localized at 8:31 pm and extinguished at 8:40
pm. A wood cooling tower with an area of 300 sq.m. burnt off.
