Yesterday in the electorate number 10 in Yerevan took place the
additional elections of the deputies of the National Assembly on
which took part 24.3% of the voters.
When Khachatur Suqiasyan, a businessman from opposition, put down
his mandate the place became free.
The potential candidates for the place of the deputy were the member of
the "National Unity" Ara Simonyan, the chief editor of the "Haykakan
Zhamanak" newspaper Nicol Pashinyan and the president of the Armenian
Marxists Party Davit Hakobyan.
Though the staff of Ara Simonyan and Davit Hakobyan didn’t complain
from the election process, the headquarters of Nicol Pashinyan alarmed
about the breaches noticed in the electorate.
The official results of the elections are not announced yet, but
as we are informed the voters voted for Ara Simonyan mainly. On the
second place is the chief editor of the "Haukakan Zhamanak" newspaper
Nikol Pashinyan. The third place is for Davit Hakobyan the president
of the Armenian Marxists Party.
