Where Was CC Head?

WHERE WAS CC HEAD?

The Armenian Constitutional Court is discussing the question whether
the Armenian and Turkish protocols correspond to the Armenian
Constitution. The discussion is passing in a close regimen. But it
does not have any importance. The point is that before discussing
the protocols in a close regimen, the head of Constitutional Court
Gagik Harutyunyan quite openly participated in Serge Sargsyan’s
pan-Armenian tour.

Gagik Harutyunyan being the CC head did not have to participate in
such kind of events because of his office keeping the principle of
being separated, far from the government while he was sitting near
Serge Sargsyan during all his meetings. There is no doubt that it was
not the initiative of Gagik Harutyunyan but the one of Serge Sargsyan.

It was him to include Gagik Harutyunyan in his delegation and to make
Harutyunyan sit near him.

In other words, still months ago, Serge Sargsyan was openly showing
that he does not have any problem with the Constitutional Court. It
would be at least strange, if the structure headed by Gagik Harutyunyan
who was silent in connection with the protocols as the CC head being
near Serge Sargsyan in his tour, takes the decision to declare the
protocols not corresponding to the RA Constitution.

If this happens, Gagik Harutyunyan will perhaps have to declare
about his resignation or to say that he was forced to sit near
Serge Sargsyan with his mouth closed. Will the situation have such
a development? Hardly. Sure if we are led by realism.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
