CONSTITUTIONAL COURT DECISION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO DANGEROUS DEVELOPMENTS: HERITAGE PARTY

Tert.am

The Heritage Party issued a statement in response to yesterday’s
decision on the Armenian-Turkish Protocols by Armenia’s Constitutional
Court, who stated that the Protocols did not violate any aspect of
the country’s Constitution.

The release by the party, in part, reads:

"The Heritage Party considers the decision made by the Constitutional
Court on January 12, 2010, on Armenia’s assumed responsibilities in
recognizing the Armenian-Turkish Protocols’ correspondence with the
RA Constitution to be an unconstitutional, unlawful, anti-state and
anti-nation act, made not in the name of, but against the republics of
Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, their citizens and the Armenian people
around the world…

"The Heritage Party announces that

It will not accept the (already with the participation of the
Constitutional Court)’legalized’ falsification, The Constitutional
Court is in an accomplice to anti-Armenian conspiracy and to once again
depriving us of our homeland [Armenian historical lands currently
in western Turkey], The Constitutional Court is not claiming full
responsibility of contributing to dangerous developments in the
republics of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh as a consequence of putting
into effect the Armenian-Turkish Protocols, Standing on the foundation
of all of this, Armenia’s presidencies and their political forces bear
the… responsibility of the Constitutional Court’s decision, [and]
Serzh Sargsyan and his administration have crossed all thresholds of
responsibility and self-resignation."

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
