According to the NA member Vardan Khachatryan, the Turkish Prime
Minister Erdogan during his visit to Russia will try to make repression
on Armenia concerning the Karabakh issue. Even return of one of
the released regions is mentioned which will save Turkey’s image
enabling it to ratify the protocols. In accordance with Turkish laws,
the Turkish parliament can discuss the protocols for ten months which
will be additional repression on Armenia, says Vardan Khachatryan.
Under such conditions, Armenia must present to the international
society tougher stances which will prove that aggression in interstate
relations such as the closure of the Armenian border by Turkey gives
positive results for it. Vardan Khachatryan noted that in Moscow
Erdogan will try to save Turkey’s image while Lavrov in Yerevan will
try not to pose to danger Russia’s interests in connection with the
construction of the gas pipeline though which the Russian gas will
reach Europe.
