SCOTLAND, NORTH IRELAND AND WALES RECOGNIZE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

Majority of the UK Parliament members from Scotland and Northern
Ireland recognized Armenian Genocide, Nouvelles d’Armenie Magazine
reports.

According to the source, this week’s developments lobbied by
Wales-Armenia Solidarity and supported also by French Nor Seround
cultural association will increase the moral coercion on British
Premier Gordon Brown.

37 out of 59 Scottish Parliamentarians recognized Armenian Genocide,
while 13 voted against it. Meanwhile, 11 out of 18 MPs from Northern
Ireland voted for Genocide recognition.

Majority of the Welsh MPs recognized Armenian Genocide in 2006
and 2007.
