Igdir sent 4,000 signatures against opening of the Armenian-Turkish
border.
"The society against unsubstantiated claims of Armenians" of the
Turkish city, Igdir, sent 4,000 signatures against opening of the
Armenian-Turkish border to the Foreign Ministry of the country,
Zaman newspaper reads.
Society chairman Geksen Gulbey said "the opening of borders will be
possible when Armenia withdraws from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan".
Gulbey noted that 4,000 signatures have been collected and sent to
the Turkish Foreign Ministry. "We hope that our government and the
Foreign Ministry will consider this issue thoroughly".
This society has already applied to the European Court of Human Rights
in connection with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s participation
in committing genocide in Khojaly.
