HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC Repaid Its Issued Bonds

HSBC BANK ARMENIA CJSC REPAID ITS ISSUED BONDS

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC advised that 10,000 coupon
bonds issued by the Bank (nominal value – AMD 100,000, annual
coupon – 9% per annum, maturity period – 365 days, Depository code –
AMHSBCB11ER8, Stock Exchange code – HSBCB1) matured on 13 January 2010.

In accordance with the terms defined in the Prospectus, the nominal
amount and accrued interest with total value of AMD 1,090,000,000
(one billion ninety million) were successfully paid to investors’
accounts on 14 January 2010.

HSBC Bank Armenia was established in 1995. License N67 of the Central
Bank of the Republic of Armenia. The bank started its activity in
1996 as "Midland Armenia Bank" JSC. In 1998 it was renamed into "HSBC
Bank Armenia" CJSC. The co-founders of the bank are the HSBC Group –
70%, and the investors representing the Armenian Diaspora. The bank
is the member of SWIFT and Bankmail payment systems.
