ARMENIAN SINGER NOMINATED FOR PRESTIGIOUS FRENCH MUSIC AWARD

For the first time, an Armenian singer will be participating in
France’s prestigious Les Victoires de la musique classique (classical
music awards): Anna Kasyan, who was born and raised in Georgia,
has been nominated for the "Revelation of the Year Lyric Artist" award.
The 17th annual classical music awards will be televised on local
channels France 3 and France Inter at 8:30 pm on Monday, February 8,
2010, as well as being broadcast via RFI radio station.
