PACE CONFIRMS THE MANDATES OF THE ARMENIAN DELEGATION

The Committee on Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional
Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)
held a sitting on January 26. Head of the Armenian delegation to
PACE David Harutyunyan and Armen Rustamyan (member of the Committee)
participated in the sitting.
The issue of mandates of the Armenian delegation was on the agenda of
the meeting. Having discussed the issue and examined the documents
presented by the members of the delegation, the Committee came to
the conclusion that the Armenian delegation was formed in accordance
with Article 25 of the Statute of the Council of Europe and Article
6 of the PACE Statute.
Therefore, the Committee decided that the mandates of the Armenian
delegation were to be confirmed. The opinion of the Committee
on Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional Affairs was
adopted unanimously, Press Service of the National Assembly of
Armenia informed.
