PRESIDENT SARGSYAN MEETS GEORGIA’S PRIME MINISTER

President Serzh Sargsyan today received Georgian Prime Minister
Nika Gilauri, who has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the 8th
sitting of the Armenian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on
Economic Cooperation.
Greeting the Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to our country, President
Sargsyan said: "We are good neighbors and we must communicate more
frequently to discuss the issues that emerge from time to time. We
view Georgia as a brotherly and friendly country and we are ready to
further deepen our relations."
Prime Minister Nika Gilauri conveyed to President Sargsyan the warm
greetings of his Georgian counterpart Mikhail Saakashvili and an
invitation to visit Georgia.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the economic situation and the
anti-crisis measures taken in the two countries. Reference was made
to regional issues, as well.
