PARTICIPATION OF THE ITALIAN COMPANIES IN CONSTRUCTION OF THE "NORTH-SOUTH" HIGHWAY NOT EXCLUDED

YEREVAN, JANUARY 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Transport and Communication
Minister Gurgen Sargsyan received today the delegation headed by the
deputy economic development minister Paulo Romani.

Press secretary of the Armenian minister Susanna Tonoyan told
Armenpress that greeting the guests G. Sargsyan expressed hope that
applying the successful experience of Italy in Armenia will promote
the development of the country’s economy.

During the meeting, which took place with the participation of
the Economy Minister Nerses Yeritsyan, a number of issues of
mutual interest have been discussed, which particularly refer to
digitalization of TV and radio, Internet availability, railway,
road construction.

P. Romani noted that all conditions are ensured for displaying
assistance to Armenia. The deputy minister said that their country is
known with the existence of big companies in road construction sphere
and expressed hope that they will participate in the international
tender for the construction of "North-South" highway. P. Romani did
not exclude the participation of the Italian companies in railway
construction sphere.
