During yesterday’s National Assembly meeting, RA Minister of Foreign
Affairs Edward Nalbandian once again recalled Armenia’s position
that without Nagorno-Karabakh’s participation in negotiations, it’s
impossible to come to an agreement in the conflict settlement process.

"We have stated numerous times, without Nagorno-Karabakh’s
participation in negotiations, it’s impossible to reach an agreement in
the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. What the Azerbaijanis
are saying is another display of an unconstructive approach."

Nalbandian also alluded to the fact that, in this issue, there are
no differences of opinion with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

"Our approach related to Nagorno-Karabakh’s participation finds support
with the three co-chairs," said Armenia’s foreign affairs minister.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
