Aliev makes a statement on Karabakh at Munich Security Conference

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliev said at the Security Conference in
Munich that the ongoing conflict over the Karabakh issue between
Azerbaijan and Armenia poses risks to the regional stability in the
Caucasus, Radio Liberty reports.

President Aliev said, in particular, that Armenian Armed Forces’
presence in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic for over two decades sets
back the full regional cooperation and development projects that
Azerbaijan’s government hatches.

The source points that American secret service was warning that
Armenia and Azerbaijan may enter the war because of the
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
