AZERBAIJANI HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS TO VISIT YEREVAN

ArmInfo. International Federation of Human Rights headquarters in
Paris has invited Azerbaijani Human Rights Center representatives to
the Human Rights Forum expected in Armenia on April 6-8 2010.
Chairman of the Civil Society Institute NGO Artak Kirakosyan told
ArmInfo the Azerbaijani human rights activists have not refused from
participation in the Forum in Yerevan.
"The Forum will be held in Yerevan under state auspices. The Forum
is held once in three years. In addition, the Forum has never been
held in Eastern Europe before. The Turkish delegation accepts the
invitation and will arrive in Yerevan. Moreover, Turks welcomed the
initiative of holding such a large- scale even in Armenia," he said.
Delegations from 30 countries and members of international and
European structures will participate in the Forum in Yerevan. It will
be organized within the frames of the 37th international conference
of the organization. The International Federation of Human Rights
involves 105 countries. The Civil Society Institute represents Armenia
at the Federation.
