ENTERING ARMENIA, FOREIGN CITIZENS REQUIRED TO BUY INSURANCE POLICIES FOR THEIR VEHICLES

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The National Assembly of Armenia on February 12,
2010 started hearings of the draft law "On compulsory insurance of
liability of vehicles. As the PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported
from the National Assembly of Armenia, Deputy Chairman of the CBA
Vache Gabrielyan said that foreign citizens entering Armenia will
be required to buy insurance policies for their vehicles to avoide
delays in case of accidents. In turn, the chairman of the NA Standing
Committee on Health Ara Babloyan said that this law would facilitate
the compensation of health damage of the victim.
