OPPOSITION GETTING READY FOR 2012 ELECTIONS: RULING REPUBLICAN PARTY OF ARMENIA

"The opposition is getting ready for the 2012 elections," and an
"exchange of fire" among different opposition forces can be expected,
said ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Secretary Eduard
Sharmazanov during a press conference today.
Turning his attention to Heritage Party leader Armen Martirosyan’s
recent comment that the governing authorities and Armenian President
Serzh Sargsyan are attempting to appear pupush ("exemplary") before
the outside world, Sharmazanov said: "HHK doesn’t wish to appear
pupush. HHK is a working party. It is those who attempt to bring a
guy from Europe to defend Armenia that wish to appear pupush," said
the HHK secretary, meaning those who get outside help or ask a third
party to come to their defense.
