ARMENIA TO PARTICIPATE IN BLACK SEA REGIONAL CONFERENCE

On February 15-16, 2010 Armenia will attend the Black Sea Regional
Policy conference organized by the Assembly of European Regions (AER)
in Paris.
According to AER official, the conference will be timed to
environmental situation and tourism issues in Black Sea states.
Representatives from Armenia, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Bulgaria,
Ukraine and Romania are to attend the discussions on regional issues.
Established in 1985, AER comprises 270 regions from 33 states as well
as 16 interregional organizations. The network aims at developing
dialogue between all European institutions and increasing their
regional role.
