/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian Greco-Roman wrestlers won bronze at the
World Cup for the second time. Previously, Armenian wrestlers won
bronze medals at World Cup 2009 in France.

Armenia won 2 out of 4 fights vs. Scandinavian team and Cuba (both
with a score 7:0). In a fight for the 3rd place Armenian wrestlers
beat Russians 4:3, and were defeated by Iran, the winners, who took
on Turkey in the finals.

Roman Amoyan (w/c 55), Arsen Julfalakyan (w/c 74) and Yuri Patrikeev
(w/c 120) of the Armenia managed to win all combats. Two-time European
champion, world championship silver medalist and Olympic Games bronze
medalist Roman Amoyan participated in the World Cup for the first
time. "Of course, we are a little sad that we have not reached the
finals, but we will try to succeed next year," Roman Amoyan told a
PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

European Champion in 2009 Arsen Julfalakyan said that during the past
ten days he has won the second cup. "I am very pleased that we have
been able to achieve such a success," Julfalakyan said.

In combats vs. the Russian team, when the score was 3:3, everything
depended on the fight in 120-kg-weight category. Four-time European
champion, bronze medalist Yuri Patrikeev was able to win a victory
for the Armenian team: "I feel crazy feelings, I haven’t experienced
such things for a long time, you don’t often see such a great support
from fans. They filled me with strength. I understood that the
responsibility was on me and it pressed me psychologically a little.

All the guys had done their jobs, and I just had to win," Patrikeev
said.
