"Both Madrid document and the new document together with the other
documents which have been worked out without the participation of the
NKR can’t be included in the process", – stated the NKR president
Bako Sahakyan attaching importance to the all documents concerning
Artsakh issue.
During the meeting with the journalists Bako Sahakyan informed that
during the meeting with the OSCE Chairman-in Office Kanat Saudbaev
he has mentioned that the main obstacle that today exists in the
negotiation process is the disturbed format of the talks.
He also mentioned that the all, the OSCE ex chairman, the present
chairman, the Minsk Group co-chairs have been suggested to resume
the full format of the negotiations.
"I think that as the Chairman-in-office has mentioned will be taken
into consideration the viewpoint of the NKR and corresp0onding
measures will be undertaken for this viewpoint to be respected and
the negotiation process to be resumed", – B. Sahakyan stated.
As the President B. Sahakyan informed they have proposed the OSCE
Chairman-in Office Kanat Saudbaev to visit the Nagorno Karabakh when
he will be visiting the region.
"Otherwise it will mean that all the prominent international
organizations, OSCE in that number, visit the region without getting
acquainted with one of the main sides of the conflict, without having
separate meetings with the people and the corresponding institutions
of the country", – stressed B. Sahakyan summing up his speech and
stressed that such kind of approach can’t be fruitful.
