ArmInfo.By the end of Apr 2010 Unibank will open three new branches:
two branches in Yerevan and one branch in Agarak.
The press service of Unibank reports that the Avan branch will be
opened in Feb, the branch in Achapnyak in Mar, the Agarak one in Apr.
Operations Directors of Unibank Eliza Mheryan says that the new
branches will provide the whole range of services, including UNIPAY
utility payments. UNIPAY is already quite popular. The system was
launched in Oct 2009 and now it has over 9,000 customers (with the
total number of Unibank’s customers being 85,000).
By the end of this year Unibank will open nine new branches and will
have a total of 43 branches all over the country. Simultanoeusly,
the bank is redesigning its existing branches. In Mar the Artashat
and Kapan branches will be moved to new better venues. By the end of
June the bank will finish the new building of the Gyumri branch.
According to the source, by the end of 2009 Unibank’s assets grew by
58% to over 108,6 bln AMD. Over the period under review, the capital of
the bank made up 11,6 bln AMD, having grown by 22,8% as compared with
beginning of the year. Provision of crediting increased by almost 43%
to 66,7 bln AMD. In 2009 Unibank’s obligations grew by 63,6% to 97
bln AMD. Deposits exceeded 85,6 bln AMD, having grown by about 80%.
The bank has considerably increased the volume of deposits of legal
persons by 341% to 37,3 bln AMD. The volume of fixed-term deposits
of individuals amounted to 45,4 bln AMD.
The bank operates as a strategic partner of Uniastrumbank (Russia).
