Kazakhstan Will Try To Work Out A Formula Of Conduct For Settlement

KAZAKHSTAN WILL TRY TO WORK OUT A FORMULA OF CONDUCT FOR SETTLEMENT OF NAGORNYY KARABAKH CONFLICT

ArmInfo. Kazakhstan will try to work out a formula of conduct
in support to efforts that many parties have taken to settle the
Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Roman Vasilenko,
Kazakh Foreign Ministry International Information Committee chairman,
told journalists in Tbilisi. He was commenting on a visit of Kanat
Saudabayev, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan’s Secretary of
State and Foreign Minister, to Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"Kazakhstan will try to work out a formula of conduct based on results
of these visits," Vasilenko said.

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakh FM Kanat Saudabayev visited
Azerbaijan and Armenia as part of his tour of the South Caucasus on
Feb. 14-17. Now he is on an official visit to Georgia.

To note, according to Kazakh mass media, on 15 February during
his visit to Baku the OSCe Chairman-in-Office Kanat Saudabayev
met President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and transferred to him
suggestions of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on
Nagornyy Karabakh conflict settlement. As for the Armenian party,
there are still no official comments on the issue.
