ARMENIA AND RUSSIA DISCUSS SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION IN REAL ESTATE CADASTRE

ArmInfo. The issues of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of
maintenance of a real estate cadastre, registration of rights for
real estate, land- utilization, geodesy, cartography and geographic
information systems were discussed during the official meeting
of heads of the State Real Estate Cadastre Committee under the
government of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan and the Federal Service for
State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Sergey Vasilyev in Moscow
on February 15.

An agreement has been reached during the negotiations on signing of
a Memorandum of cooperation between the Federal Service for State
Registration, Cadastre and Cartography and the State Real Estate
Cadastre Committee under the government of Armenia. Moreover, the
parties discussed the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation
within the frames of the Interstate Council for Geodesy, Cartography,
Cadastre and Geometrical Sounding of Land of CIS member-states.

The Armenian delegation was also enabled to get acquainted with
the activity of subdivisions and lower organizations of the Federal
Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography.

In his turn, Y. Zakharyan invited S. Vasilyev to pay official visit to
Yerevan for the Russian delegation to get acquainted with the activity
of the State Real Estate Cadastre Committee under the government of
Armenia, as well as to continue a constructive dialogue and experience
exchange.
