MFA: AZERBAIJAN AVOIDS RESPONSIBILITY

Here is the answer of the head of the RA MFA Press and Information
department Tigran Balayan given to the "Panorama.am".

Question: How would you comment on the Azerbaijani MFA speaker Elhan
Polukhov’s speech stating that Shahumyan, Martakert and Martuni
regions of the NKR are a part of Azerbaijan?

Answer: Stating that Shahumyan, Martakert and Martuni regions of
the NKR belong to Azerbaijan the MFA of that country tries to avoid
the responsibility for the ethnic cleansing and occupation realized
against Nagorno Karabakh.

It would be rather strange if the Azerbaijani site presented at
least one international legal document allowing realizing ethnic
cleansing and justifying it by the idea that it is realized in their
own territory.
