‘100 STEPS’ BY ANC: OPPOSITION OFFERS TO REDISTRIBUTE CAPITAL

"Eventually economic program repeatedly mentioned by ANC turned into
reality," oppositional ANC Coordinator Levon Zurabyan told journalists
on Feb.23.
He also informed that on Feb. 17 ANC political board decided to
propound its ‘100 steps’ program on socioeconomic reforms.
He noted that program aims at Armenia’s economy improvement and end
illegal monopolies. "The program enables all social statas to work
forming a healthy competitive environment," he said, adding that the
program was elaborated by ANC economic commission headed by former
RA Premier Hrant Bagratyan.
According to Zurabyan, the program will give an opportunity to
tighten punitive measures against oligarchs, conduct redistribution
of capital, encourage export and eliminate shadow politics along with
corruption. ANC member also emphasized that if authorities give consent
to the program implementation, "it will be tantamount to suicide for
them, in other words, they will hang themselves."
ANC is headed by first Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
