"ARMAVIA" AIRLINES RESTARTS YEREVAN-BEIRUT-LARNAKA FLIGHT

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 23, ARMENPRESS: "Armavia" airlines will restart
from today Yerevan-Beirut-Larnaka flight. Press secretary of the
company Nana Avetisova told Armenpress that the flights will yet be
implemented once in a week. This year the airlines will also implement
new flights to Barcelona, the USA, Poland, Rimini, proposal on opening
of new flight to Canada is also being discussed.
N. Avetisova said that in general the implementation of transit
flights to Europe through Yerevan have also activated. In late February
"Armavia" will operate Yerevan-Delhi-Yerevan flight and from March 28
another direction Yerevan-Tel Aviv-Yerevan will operate implemented
twice in two weeks.
As of today, the company has seven jets. This year the national
air-carrier is planning to acquire jets for Trans-Atlantic flights
and another two "Sukhoi Superjet".
