Baku – APA. During the second reading Armenian Parliament passed the
bill on making amendments to the law on "International treaties",
introduced by the Armenian Government.

Commenting such a rush on accepting the current bill, the Minister
of Foreign Affairs of Armenian Republic Eduard Nalbandian noted
that Armenian President gave appropriate instructions regarding of
making the amendment to the law on "International laws", which gives
preventive rights to President to denounce international treaties after
the Protocols ratified by the Armenian Parliament and not exchanged
with the opposite side. "This shouldn’t be understood as disrespect
with regard to the Armenian Parliament, since this emanates from the
actions taken by the opposite side", said Nalbandian.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
