Haigazian University signs a Memorandum of Understanding with VIVACELL-MTS
Beirut, 25/02/2010- On Wednesday the 24th of February 2010, Haigazian
University President, Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian, and Vivacell-MTS General
Manager, Mr. Ralph Yirikian, signed a memorandum of understanding,
paving the way to establishing mutually beneficial and multi-profile
relations of cooperation between the two parties.
Through this MOU, regular and pre-graduate internships will be provided
to a number of Haigazian University students on a yearly basis, thus,
strengthening and deepening their theoretical and practical knowledge
using modern technologies. Also, the MOU will enhance joint lectures,
scientific research, and pedagogical activities.
During his inspiring speech on leadership at Haigazian University,
General Manager Ralph Yirikian shared the success story of Vivacell-MTS,
from a small start-up business to becoming Armenia’s leading mobile
operator, a business with a mission and ethical standards reaching
beyond borders.
"We managed to succeed, because we chose the proper model of management,
we chose to never hesitate in our success and we are guided by the
understanding of the Corporate Social Responsibility towards our
community", said Yirikian.
