Baku – APA. "Azerbaijan Defense Minister Safar Abiyev’s statement in
his meeting with the French ambassador caused certain concerns in
Armenia. Some news agencies on order of the military leadership of
Armenia reminded about losses of Azerbaijan in 1992-94 and tried to
swell own "braveries" like they have discovered new America.
Azerbaijan explained causes of this situation for many times and the
international organizations also confirmed that", said Spokesman for
the Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Lieutenant-Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu,
APA reports.
Sabiroglu said otherwise Armenia could never find courage to make a
step forward in the first Nagorno Karabakh war. "They were supported
by that force not only in Khojaly, but other operations too. Armenia
shelters in shadow of that force even today. If we see world history
we can clear that Armenians were never able to make heroism alone.
They were always crutch of someone and betrayed their well-wishers.
The Armenian news agencies shouldn’t forget all these facts while
making excursion on the past".
Azerbaijan Defense Minister Safar Abiyev said in his meeting with
French ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller that diplomats couldn’t
achieve concrete result on Nagorno Karabakh problem in 15 years.
"Azerbaijan can’t wait for 15 years more. Now the matter depends on
the war and this threat is approaching. If Armenian invasion forces
are not withdrawn from Karabakh, large-scale war will be unavoidable
in the South Caucasus", said the minister.
