ArmInfo. "This year we expect Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to
pay a visit to Ukraine. The previous leader Yuschenko invited the
Armenian president to visit our country, and I am sure that the new
president Viktor Yanukovich will confirm this invitation",- said
Ukrainian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia
Alexander Bozhko at today’s press-conference.
He also stressed that the Ukrainian party attaches much significance
to the fact that the president of Armenia visited Kiev and participated
in the newly-elected Ukrainian president’s inauguration.
Bozhko added that the two countries pay much attention to their
inter-parliamentary ties. He recalled that Artur Baghdasaryan
visited Ukraine during his term in office of Speaker of the Armenian
parliament, and expressed hope that Head of the Ukrainian Rada will
visit Yerevan. "Thus, the Armenian-Ukrainian relations are developing
quite dynamically. Certainly, there are some problems, but we are
working at their settlement for the welfare of both Armenian and
Ukrainian people",- concluded Bozhko.
