authorities.

HAK Coordinator Levon Zurabyan said the pro-government forces are in
agony as "Serzh Sargsyan can no longer satisfy their appetite." Levon
Zurabyan also underlined that Armenia should hold an extraordinary
presidential election by the fall of 2010.

Hanrapetutyun (Republic) Party Leader Aram Sargsyan announced that the
authorities had done their utmost in the past two years to conceal the
perpetrators of the March 1 events. Moreover, the Prosecutor-General
continues "fooling" people saying that everything has been done to
disclose the events.

Regarding the country’s foreign policy Aram Sargsyan noted that
Serzh Sargsyan is the only person who benefits from Armenian-Turkish
rapprochement as he is enabled to extend his office.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
