Armenia, nevertheless, sent its proposals on the updated principles
of Madrid to OSCE. The Director of the Center of Political Studies
Garnik Isagulyan stated about it today. Recall, the spokesman of
the Armenian Foreign Ministry refused the fact that the Armenian
MFA proposed anything. On the same day, though, Edward Nalbandyan
himself did not refuse strongly: "It is an ordinary working process
in the course of which the parties always make proposals which were
responded. This process will be continued until the parties make
their positions closer".
A week ago, Azerbaijan already stated that it does not have any
complaints or proposals with regard to the principles. On these days,
the Azerbaijani foreign minister said he is going to meet with the
OSCE Minsk group co-chairs in Paris.
Despite the fact that the Karabakh issue has long ago come out of
the regime of confidentiality and is discussed on a public sphere,
the Armenian MFA did not consider it necessary to go into details of
its proposals.
