RALLY IN DEFENSE OF JAVAKHI ARMENIANS IN FRENCH LYON

ArmInfo. Dozens of Armenians gathered in front of Euronews TV
headquarters in Lyon on March 3 2010 despite the cold and rainy
weather. French Armenians protested against discrimination policy of
Georgian authorities towards Armenians in Georgia and particularly
in Jabakhk region.
ARFD Committee in Rhone-Alpes and Adviser to Willerban Mayor Movses
Nisanyan and others came out against infringement of the human rights
of Javakhi Armenians and demanded Euronews to take measures to settle
the problems of Georgian Armenians and to ensure Javakhi political
figure Vahagn Chakhalyan’s right to fair proceedings. Similar actions
will be regularly held in Lyon. The next action will be on April 3
in front of the FRANCE 3 TV headquarters.
