President of Armenia receives legendary filmmaker Emir Kusturica

Arminfo. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today the
legendary filmmaker Emir Kusturica.

As press-service of the president reported, over the meeting Sargsyan
said he his pleased to welcome Emir Kusturica at the Armenian land.
‘The historical destinies of our nations are very much similar. Your
music and art are very close to us’, – the president said. For his
part, Emir Kusturica confessed he is admired by the beauty of Armenia.
He said he is happy visiting Armenia, as it will give him an
opportunity not only tom express his friendly feelings but also to
enhance friendly relations between
the two nations. He told the president about his plans and expressed
readiness to take all the efforts to support International Film
Festival ‘Golden apricot’.
