GORAN LENNMARKER: NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT IS NOT FROZEN

ArmInfo. Nagorno Karabakh conflict is not frozen, shots are heard
along the border and people die, OSCE PA special rapporteur on
Nagorno Karabakh Goran Lennmarker said in Yerevan today during a
seminar "Regional cooperation in the South Caucasus. Challenges,
Opportunities, Perspectives".

According to him, the conflict essentially damage both the economy
and the politics of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Lennmarker emphasized the
necessity to remember that the conflict solution cannot be imposed
from outside, it should happen inside the countries. He also said
the parties must reach understanding as soon as possible, and this
understanding should be acceptable for both parties. OSCE MG just
aims at solution of such a decision that will be accepted by both
the heads of states and societies.
