March 10, RA President Serzh Sargsyan met with President of French
National Assembly Bernard Accoyer. RA President appreciated high
the activities of France-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group,
emphasizing the significant contribution by its former and incumbent
Chairmen Francois Rochebloine and Rene Rouquet to the enhancement of
bilateral good neighborly relations, RA Presidential press service
informed NEWS.am. The officials discussed regional issues, as well
as prospects of friendly relations expansion in different fields.
As NEWS.am reported previously, earlier Sargsyan held a meeting
with President of French Senate Gerard Larcher. RA President made a
point of regular mutual visits between the two Parliaments. Larcher
outlined the Senate’s readiness to contribute to the development of
Armenia-France good-neighborly relations.
In the course of the visit, Sargsyan had a working dinner with
representatives of Armenian community, including Charles Aznavour.
Armenian delegation will return to Yerevan on March 11.
