Turkish hackers have attacked the websites of a series of institutes
in Sweden after its parliament narrowly (131-130) adopted a resolution
recognizing the Armenian Genocide on March 11.

According to Turkish daily Sabah, the hackers broke into the websites
of SICS, Santaanna, Viktoria and Interactive institutions, all of
which conduct research projects.

Since the passage of this Genocide bill, Turkish political and public
figures have been lashing out at Swedish authorities and legislators.

As a sign of protest, representatives of the Turkish Workers Party
placed a wreath in front of the Swedish Consulate in Izmir and
announced, "Led by the United States, imperialist countries wish to
divide Turkey with Genocide resolutions."

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
