U.S. should look at itself first and then speak of human rights’
violation in other states, said Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik
Tsarukyan at March 15 briefing commenting on the U.S.

State Department report on low level of democracy in Armenia.

"What can I say, let America look at itself first and then speak
of other states. Country that has a Guantanamo prison cannot speak
of others. People always warm to their role when speak of others,
but they better look at themselves," Tsarukyan stated.

On March 11, U.S. State Department issued a report on "Human Rights in
2009," saying that political crisis in Armenia caused by falsification
in 2008 presidential elections and clash following it killed 10 people,
and still situation of strain in the country maintains.
