There are shortcomings and omissions in all the ministries; it’s not
just the Ministry of Economy, said Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran
Sargsyan at a press conference today, commenting on recent statements
by Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan addressed to
Economic Minister Nerses Yeritsyan.

According to Sargsyan, it’s enough to become familiar with the studies
of Armenia’s Control Service to see that shortcomings and omissions
can be found in all ministries.

"Today we must not exchange accusations. Instead, our power must be
our unity: if there are shortcomings or omissions in this or that
ministry, our coalition partners should help [us] to set them right.

We must not violate the rules of ethics," he said.

Sargsyan also said he did not want to single out coalition parties
and say that a minister from this party has done a good job while a
minister from another party has not.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
