relations between the churcCatholicos of All Armenians Garegin II ,
in turn, said that relations between the two churches have a long
history. "We rejoice that these relations exist not only between
our churches, but the two countries. We wish to acknowledge with
appreciation the exclusive paternal attitude of the Russian patriarch
to the children of our Church in Russia,"he said.
