"WE DON’T KNOW WE ARE BETRAYERS, WE BETRAY MESROP MASHTOTS"

Today in the hall of the Armenian National Library will take place
the presentation of the documentary film "Resurrection" shot by
the "Levon Mirijanyan" fund. The film is dedicated to the Armenian
classical spelling.

As Aysor.am was informed by the Armenian National Library the film
"Resurrection" is about returning to the Armenian classical spelling.

In the film thoughts of Hovhannes Tumanyan, Russian writer I. Bunin,
historian of Press Grigor Guyumjyan and others concerning Armenian
classical spelling are included.

The film director is Stepan Zatikyan.

Paruyr Hayrikyan too will speak about the Armenian classical spelling.

He is also a supporter of Armenian classical spelling and has
participated in the working process of the film.

During the conversation with Aysor.am Paruyr Hayrikyan mentioned that
we were to return to the Armenian classical spelling yesterday.

"We do not know that we are betrayers, we betray Mesrop Mashtots,
our fathers", – P. Hayrikyan mentioned.

He also noted that returning to Armenian classical spelling means
moving forward and moving forward is the correct thing to do.
