STAR KEEPS PRICES DOWN AGAIN

Arminfo. The fixed US dollar exchange rate by 5,5% at the Armenian
market over the last month may affect the prices of the goods imported
to Armenia, the share of which is more than 60% of the STAR assortment.

As press-service of STAR reported, the company continues watching all
the price changes not allowing their ungrounded raising in the STAR net
of supermarkets. In this context the leadership of STAR is negotiating
with goods suppliers and analyzing price growing. ‘We assure you
that we are keeping prices down, and if prices change, we guarantee
that they are changed not to make use of the created situation. It
is connected with the floating exchange rate which directly affects
market prices’, – STAR executive director Vahag Keropyan said.
