Women’s Challenge Trophy: Armenia’s Handball Team Lost to Cyprus

The 2010 IHF/EHF (International Handball Federation/European Handball
Federation) Women’s Challenge Trophy, which took place in Israel this
year, kicked off yesterday. The team from Armenia was up against
Cyprus in the first round, and, unfortunately, lost (27-28).

The Armenian team, comprised of Armenian women from France, was
winning 13-11 after the first half, but lost to the Cypriots in the
second half.

Armenia will play against Israel, today, on March 20, and against
Malta on March 21, reports Armsport.am.
